How BA would it be to have your music described like this? ~~~ Bassnectar combines sound and force with weight while spanning the spectrum of sonic style, covering every genre imaginable, and smashing it all into a collision of wobbling, perverted basslines, hypnotic hide-and-seek adventures, and pretty much anything that strikes his fancy.

I'm SO SO SO SO SO SO excited for Bassnectar next weekend.

AAAANNNNNDDDD my sister in law is looking into seeing if there are tickets left for New Years Eve in San Fransisco at the Sea Of Dreams to see Bassnectar, EOTO, Glitch Mob, Ozomatli, Ghostland Observatory, and over a DOZEN more DJ's. AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! If you haven't been able to tell already, I think I am going to explode if this works out and we're able to go to California over break and go to this New Years party! It'll have a full free bar, cabaret performers, circus performers, aerialists, contortionists, balloon drops, confetti cannons and over 50 massive pieces of inflatable art, and complete with multiple sound systems. I really hope there are tickets left, and I think there are, but they're pretty expensive. But thiis wouldn't matter anyways because my sis in law is willing to pay for them.

So excited!!!! :)

This weekend was awesome awesome awesome awesome : D

My Pickachu outfit was fun, Tim's friend Tyler coming into town was a lot of fun, parties all weekend were fun, spending a lot of time with Tim was fun. This was just a fun weekend.

And now I have lots and lots and lots of homework and studying to catch up on because I did not fit any of that into this weekend...

Oh! And my mom came into town yesterday to surprise me! :) I was very happy. I haven't seen her in over 2 months and I missed her a lot. She took Tim and I to The Brew Co. yesterday and then to Canton Inn today for lunch before she left. She also stocked the shit out of my fridge, freezer, and cabinets. I think I have enough food for Tim and I to eat until the end of the semester. She even bought me some sweaters and brought my jacket from home so I wouldn't be cold. I am so so so so so so so happy that I have food to eat and that my mom is awesome!

Last night was a good night. I got to make my pretty red flower wrap skirt into a dress, make my face all pretty :) , and I drank Southern Comfort among my other beautifully dressed friends.

I just saw a video of the Michigan State University Band "Rickrolling" the entire stadium at a football game. lol

I'm excited to dress up for Halloween. I don't think I've been actually excited about dressing up for a couple years. I think my outfit will turn out really cute. I just need to find yellow tights....

I really don't want to go to court next week over this freaking ticket that I got from the accident I was in. It's so stupid that I even have to fight this. I hate that cop and that woman that hit ME. It's bullshit and hopefully my lawyer will be able to fight this well.

My mom is sick and it makes me sad :( She home all alone since my sister is in college now and I hate that there isn't anyone there to take care of her. I miss my mom a lot. I haven't been home in 2 months and the older I get, the more my mom and I are getting along and actually having great conversations. And now I hardly ever get to go home. :(

I have the cutest cat ever. Webster is so sweet and cuddly. As soon as I walk in the door, he comes running in the room meowing and ready to jump in my arms. Then, if I lay down on my bed or couch with a blanket, he crawls under the blanket and puts his paw on my chest and his head on my shoulder. He's so freaking adorable.

I wish I could find a job close to my house. I have to find a job close by because I'm not going to be able to fix my car for a while since I'm spending so much money on court costs, lawyer fees in a week, and paying the deductible to get Tims car fixed sometime in the next 2 weeks(hopefully). I even get to pay $350 for rent and utilities on the 1st and $700 for school 3 days after that. I'm only lucky girl....

I've been trying to read at least 2 articles a day on mental disorders and more specifically this last week on criminally insane mental disorders. If music therapy can't work out right away after I graduate because of money, then this is the field I want to go into. It's all so fascinating. I know it's scary as well, but this is a field that is in high demand and it pays very well. I'll just have to see if I have the balls for it when it comes time for me to be face to face with a criminally insane patient.
